CAR: Suzuki Vitara 2016, Bosch Infotainment System, Software version 1890_210730, Software Label AI_PRJ_SUZUKI_UG_EU_SOP9_LINUX_21.0S01

Car AA Dongle: OS Version 2.4.86, SW Version 0.0.0

After updating to latest firmware for my car, and checking all is updated and working for CarPC AA using Mirroid, still not able to get it to work in my Vitara.I see the blue light indicator turn on and stay on, but nothing on dash screen.  Tried Android Auto from my phone and other wireless adapter I have, both work as expected.

Before I purchased the AA, I asked in campaign if my car was compatible, was told any car with Android Auto is supported, so why isn't the dingle working?

@sokrpan Sokratis, that's the problem with Android Auto. they change and add new features all the time and the developers are busy to make adaptions. First of all: The latest firmware of CarPC is 2.5.10 (which should update by OTA). The latest release for direct flashing you'll get right now is _here_. After flashing this the >OTA update should work and I think your CarPC will work in your Suzuki. Let us know the result.

Bye for now  Fred

@ap756-fred Hi Fred.  Thanks for the information.  FYI, the Google Drive is locked, so I requested access to get update files, once I get them I will try the update and let you know the results.

@sokrpan Try the new thread _here_. First link should be accessible without special logins, the backup link is my personal area and therefore you have to request access.

Hello,

After update to 2.5.10, AA dongle was able to connect with Android Auto in my Suzuki, and all is working as expected.

Thanks to Fred for providing info.  Happy days ahead for me to enjoy dongle and all the apps.

P.S.  Do you want us to provided any input/feedback on different apps we run on dongle, either they work or any issues?  Not sure how much you can help with addressing any issues, so let me know how/where to provided feedback.

Thanks again for the assistance.

Sokpan.

@sokrpan, any feedback is welcome. Depending on what you found out you may open a new thread in a section you might think your contribution will fit. This is not my forum, it's OUR forum and it lives from people providing feedback and help 🙂

Bye for now  Fred
