Hello, I don't know why this forum seems dead. Is no one having problems? I have lots of bugs: waze doesn't work, for maps once the destination is selected it closes, and it's still impossible to make calls from my cell phone which can't connect to carpc pro.

Indeed, it picks up the GPS signal less and less well, with unexpected closures of the navigation while driving as well as the GPS freezing.

Hello, I have just noticed new bugs with this latest version (2.6.14): once the carpc is launched and everything is working perfectly, simply engage reverse gear or exit its page on the screen of the car so that the carpc is no longer displayed, only the black screen, you will have to unplug the carpc and reconnect it so that it starts again.

@mistermda This is (most likely) related to your head unit. Please tell us the car model (head unit). I'm sure the developers will fix if they can reproduce. For now you have to find a workaround...

PS: Was not able to reproduce the bad bahvior of your GPS, maybe you should do a Factory reset.

@mistermda Sorry for the late reply. Please test this procedure: When releasing the reverse gear and the screen is black press "menu" on the head unit. Then tap on "Android auto". Reason: Your head unit grabbed the screen and does not give back control to CarPC automatically. Does it work this way?

Hello, unfortunately it does not work with this maneuver, the screen remains black.
I downloaded the latest android auto apk 12.8.143544 and installing it fixed this issue.
Please tell me, has anyone been able to connect their smartphone to carpc pro to make calls without having to insert their sim card into the carpc pro?

@mistermda Please check some settings in CarPC setup (see pics). Something has changed, worth to review the settings.

Thank you for your quick response, I have the same settings as those in your photos, it doesn't change anything, the problem persists: whether it's reverse or exiting the carpc menu for any parameter on the C-HR screen.

Hello everyone, I hope to find you in better shape even if the forum seems dead. My old problem of reverse gear which made me exit carpc as well as the return to the menu of the car screen seems to be fixed thanks to the latest version of Android auto 13.4.645014. Now everything seems to work perfectly on my carpc pro, while waiting to solve the big problem of connecting the smartphone to the carpc without having to put a sim card. I update all the applications every day. See you soon.

@mistermda Thanks to let us know there is hope for a working version. Well, you seem to be right: This seems to be an endless story (sometimes it works for a while and then stops again). This unreliability might be a reason that people no longer use their CarPC. Well, hope dies last.

Good evening, since I understood "the trick" of always installing Android auto apk (beta) updates as soon as they are released on the net and installing them, my dear carpc has never stopped working. I have been using it every day for a long time and always up to date, whether it is the different applications from Play store and this same play store to update too.
