@marekslo1 Yes, the Streambox is promising, still some bugs in firmware. They will be elliminated (time will tell). For the time being you have to live with that.

Regarding language settings: You can set languages within "Android settings". If you can't reach them please install "Open Settings"(DXIdev) from Playstore and you will be able to change close to any settings Android provides.

Direct connection to a PC is not possible (because nobody has a driver for that). But you might run Android on your PC from an USB stick and then you wil be able to connect the Streambox using an adapter. This one works for me: "CarlinKit 2022 Wired CarPlay/Wired Android Auto Adapter", should be less than €40.-. Hope that helps. Enjoy your Streambox.

Regarding updates: You will get a message on your screen if there is an OTA update. Also if there is one the update package will be uploaded here to the forum. Just check from time to time and you'll be set.

Bye for now  Fred

@mattia-bartalini Sorry Mattia, hopefully the developers work on that, but for the time being there is no info. I have to admitt that my Streambox isn't used too much because it's installed in my "summer car". Stay tuned...

Thank you

@ferjulcat , I have no experience with this Airmouse. Maybe you'll get some answers watching this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=afNzTNys0Eo

Searching for G10S Pro will bring up some more links which might help

Good morning, one question.

  1. My car display is 8.7 inches vertically. I placed 2 rear seat monitors for the kids 10 inches each horizontally. To these 2 monitors I connected an HDMI cable from the streambox output via switch/split. I have noticed that the video format coming out of the streambox to the 10 inch monitors is the same as that of my car monitor. The result is that on the 10 inch monitors the image is dimensionally reduced and does not fit the dimensions of these monitors. Is there a possibility to allow scaling of the video output to the size of 10 inch monitors? I hope I explained myself...

Thanks,

Mattia

@mattia-bartalini As far as I know Streambox has only one graphics unit, therefore main screen and additional screens just get the same signal. The good part: most monitors can modify the input signal to customize the picture for the bigger screen connected to HDMI. Please look for this feature in the manual of your additional screens. Maybe @admin has some additional info.

@mattia-bartalini Tell us brand and model of your monitors. There is nothing to do on Stream box, must be set on the monitors.

Good evening,
I am experiencing problems with the GPS more and more frequently: often it loses the signal without finding it again. What could be the reason? How to solve? Thank you,
Mattia

@mattia-bartalini There are a lot of reasons. To name but a few:

  • Wrong time zone
  • Bad almanac
  • No Internet connection for fast update

Download "GPSreset" from Playstore and perform a GPS reset as described _here_ and elswhere in the forum.
