Greetings to all

I have my unit that arrive last Friday, since this day I'm fighting with my unit and she is winning -.-

So far the only problem I do have is the sim card does not connect to the network but the sim card is detected

https://prnt.sc/gF1przXOd055

I got forwarded to this forum from the admin (I think) on Indiegogo and search for IMEI, that's what I did

I found a topic where's a user Fred explains how to change IMEI and I changed my EMEI successfully 10 times

6 IMEI provided by Qpods Earbuds on google drive and 4 by my own phones nothing of this worked I still had no sim network

I did check APNs and everything is correct.

https://prnt.sc/uA0IfWLcllG_

IMEI SV no idea what is.

I tried 3 different sim cards Vodafone, Telekom, and O2 all of them in Germany none of them worked

Atm i am in version 2.5.10 but also i try on version 2.4.88 none of them worked

I need some help try to find out the problem with the sim network

@i7even7, Helder, double check if the card is inserted like shown in pic 1 and 2. Then install Aida64 from Playstore. Run it and check "Network" (see pic 3). yIf you can't see network provider etc. we have to investigate a bit more... Oh, remove the SIM pin for now, because this might prevent your SIM card from being registered to the network.

Bye for now  Fred

PS: I'm based near Pforzheim, maybe this information is useful to you 😉

@ap756-fred

Yes, I tried both with a pin and without it.

I also try to leave the CarPc unit on all day, but nothing

@i7even7 Hmm 🤔. Looking at your screenshot I'd say you are connected to a computer (probably at a place with bad reception). Please try in your car without SIM pin. Maybe the phone module isn't strong enough to get a signal in your flat. Otherwise your CarPC pro is the first without working phone.

Side note: I usually run my CarPC without SIM card, because the unit gets a bit hot when transferring lots of data. This problem is addressed and (hopefully) will be fixed in the next update. When CarPC starts it connects to my mobile via Bluetooth, the Wifi hotspot is switched on and CarPC automatically connects to my mobile. That works for me.

Bye for now  Fred

Yes I use on PC, but I try the next day in the car and drive around

Thats the main reason I buy with a sim slot ,to not have 2 devices connect, I'm a user of carsi** and AAwirele** but none of them

offer a sim slot.

Curious. My way to connect needs no input from you. Just sit in the car and about 1 minute later you'll be online.

Bye for now  Fred
