@ap756-fred Hello Fred, unfortunately I couldn't format carpc pro to the previous version, it still doesn't work on the car, and the LED light remains. I now use Android auto from my smartphone, but it's disgusting, not the same appearance of the applications, limited navigation.... can't wait for carpc.
@mistermda Reinstalling an older version should be possible (as described above). If not it's a hardware or a user error. On the other hand if you wait as usual for the programmers to sort this problem you might need a long breathing... Sorry, no other ways I know, anyway good luck.
Bye for now Fred
@ap756-fred Good evening, I tried to format carpc but I don't know which file to choose to do it. There are 3 big files: carpc_LTE_EU the other US and the third: carpc_active2.6.14_240625 Which one is the right one for my carpc pro? thank you
@mistermda Most likely the EU-version if phones from Europe work. Hope that helps.
Bye for now Fred
PS: Remove virus protection while flashing, otherwise it is possible that not all drivers are correctly installed.
@ap756-fred This is what I put, but it remains frozen for several minutes and nothing happens. Did I choose the right settings? Please look at the image. Thanks Fred.
@mistermda "Select "Firmware upgrade" and then click the Download button. Now (not earlier) re-insert your CarPC into the USB port and start to wait. After 2 to 5 minutes (depends on your Windows PC) there will be a check mark telling you that the flashing process finished (see pic2)". You probably started the flash program when the CarPC already was inserted? The files and the procedure worked for me numerous times. Another tip: It is possible that the drivers did not install correctly. Stop your AntiVir software (might be Defender), reinstall the drivers again as administrator.
Bye for now Fred
@ap756-fred It finally works with the latest version this morning, thank you very much, I'm alive again.
I can't find that version to install. Can you provide a link to a download site? Or upload it yourself?
Hello, please consider upgrading to the latest version of Android Auto 16.0.1602. It works perfectly on CarPC. Good luck and see you soon.
@mistermda I just installed version 2.6.38 and Android Auto 16.6.661404.
I'll test if it works tomorrow.
Good evening, it should work, unfortunately mine works differently depending on whether it's connected to Wi-Fi or with a SIM card: navigation apps seem to work almost exclusively with the SIM rather than Wi-Fi, except for Sygic. The reason? I don't know.
@mistermda Everything's perfect. I don't have the PRO version, so it only works via Wi-Fi.
