Good morning. I have just received my carpc and I have some problems. The time is not automatically set via GPS if I choose not to share mobile data from my smartphone. On play store there is always an update 'android auto which does not want to be installed. I downloaded the latest update for android auto but refuses to install. The version I have of the operating system is Android 9: 2.5.24. Is there a new version? And last question, the module heats up, is this normal? Thank you and have a good day.
@mistermda, I suppose you do not have a GPS fix right now. If you are close to your home you might use your Wifi hotspot for synchronizing. Latest version is 2.5.24 and you can't update AndroidAuto because CarPC needs to use a patched version to work. Some other programs might have a problem too (like Netflix) because they have to run around some other restrictions. Regarding heat: Never measured, but just from feeling temperature will be up to 50°C under load.

Hello, thank you for your help. It works. However, the clock is reset to zero after each start of the car and I don't want to activate mobile data from my smartphone each time. And even if I have the carpc Pro I don't want to put a SIM card in it. The clock cannot be adjusted via GPS. So I find it with 00:00 and the navigation also giving wrong times like Sygic which I always use with its premium+ version .THANKS
@mistermda Your statement isn't correct. GPS can provide time (as with any Android device). See screenshots below. Find the Android settings (lower left corner there is a ^, swipe up and you'll see all installed programs) and open it, scroll down to system -> Date & Time -> Automatic Date & Time and set to your likings.
Regarding GPS please follow the instructions in the linked post.

@ap756-fred Hello, definitely without connection nothing works neither navigation nor GPS test. And it is impossible to launch GPS reset because it also needs connection. I sometimes go out by car and arrive at my destination without the clock going off. is adjusted nor that a single satellite is received. Too bad. I've been waiting for this carpc Pro for over a year and in the end....I was expecting something that would make me forget to take the laptop with me every time but ultimately it seems that it's the reverse.
@mistermda Theory and practicability are two different things. Without a correct time zone and time GPS takes ages to get a fix.
I can think of two solutions: Use your mobile as hotspot to automatically set time (and initialize te Almanac as described) or try to send CarPC back and get a refund. I agree that it makes no sense to operate CarPC (or any other head unit extensions) without some "basic information" from a hotspot. Good luck with your decission.

Hello, my carpc Pro no longer connects to the car, it shows me a message that the time on the car system is not the same as on the Android phone. Move your vehicle to a location where it can receive a GPS signal to allow automatic clock adjustment. I tried everything but to no avail. On PC with Vysor it works very well. But on my Toyota C-HR nothing. I changed the clock setting via GPS and via the network to no avail.
In addition, my laptop crashed and won't start anymore and I'm looking for an application to connect my carpc to the note 20 smartphone running Android 13 but vysor doesn't work, nor does mirroid. I'm totally lost.
@mistermda Try "Headunit Reloaded", chance is high it works (tested on Samsung A34 and some other mobiles and tablets, see _here_). Please be super patient, it takes quite long to start up...

Hello, my carpc Pro works well on the computer but I always have the incorrect time message on the screen and therefore it does not even work, not the slightest display. What do you recommend ?
@mistermda If you have no luck you have to wait unfortunatelly. Google did some updates again and my unit crashes on Google Services...
