This is a very short "How to ..." for the Air Remote Mouse G10S pro. All needed programs are on board with version 2.6.14 (except the driver which will be downloaded on demand - when you start the connection), no need for anything else, just make sure your Internet works while you try to install.

Insert batteries to G10S pro

Start CarPC

Open "all programs" (usually by swiping up on the screen)

Start the program "Bluetooth Visibility Fix" and set "visible to all" (will automatically change back to "visible to known" after connection)

Back to programs menu start "Settings". (you'll see two programs with the same name, choose Android settings)

Start menu "Connected Devices" and then "Pair new Device"

Now take your remote and press "home" and "OK" simultaneously (home/back symbol and the middle of the circle)

The red indicator will flash fast and after a while slower. Now you can release the buttons

On the screen click on G10s pro and the connection will be established.

Well done. The remote works now and you can discover new things. Needs some time to understand all possibilities.

Keep in mind: The drivers have to be downloaded (Internet connection is used) and need a bit of time to be installed. So - as usual - be patient.

If OTA updates do not work for you due to rooting or another obstacle you might use direct flashing as described here. This is a short update tutorial to clarify the process of updating. Please be aware that flashing usually deletes all your personal programs and settings, it's your fault if you didn't made a backup 😉. Download folder is _here_ or _here_. Note: This is my private webspace, I can't guarantee that this will be here forever.

Please download the correct "CarPC_xxxx_2.6.14.zip" file for your hardware to your harddisk and expand it. If not already done install Driver_Auto_Install (find it in the same the Google Drive folder). Open the folder "SP_Flash_Tool_exe_Windows_v5.1920_MT6762". First part finished.

Reboot your computer and navigate to the folder SP_Flash_Tool_exe_Windows_v5.1920_MT6762, enter that folder and start flash_tool.exe as administrator (right click on the program and select "as administrator"). If there is an error message, just click ok and the program starts and asks you for the correct scatter file. Select (choose) the correct scatter file in the correct subfolder "CarPC_xxxx_2.6.14_xxxx".

Select "upgrade" and then click the Download button. Now insert your CarPC into the USB port and start to wait. After 2 to 5 minutes (depends on your Windows PC) there will be a check mark telling you that the flashing process finished (see pic2). Wait for another 5 minutes before you remove CarPC, close SPFlash tools and reinsert CarPC into your USB on the computer (if you have installed Mirroid or Vysor) or insert it in your car's USB and the long wait begins. Your CarPC probably will restart several times (up to ten times) to install all software (there will be a yellow circle rotating) and finally restarts after 5-20 minutes showing a steady blue LED.

Update is finished. You have to set your time zone, language, probably time, connection to your phone (if you dont use the internal SIM card), you can check and reinstall all your programs and data and you can start helping the community to find errors and misbehaviors :-). Looking forward to your reports.

This is a short update tutorial to clarify the process of updating (if OTA does not work for you due to rooting or another obstacle). Please be aware that flashing usually deletes all your personal programs and settings, it's your fault if you didn't made a backup 😉. Download folder is _here_ (backup folder is _here_). Note: As long as the official link works you might download from there. Otherwise I have setup a backup folder in my personal cloud space. This way I can avoid 404's.

Please download the 2.5.18 zip file to your harddisk and expand it. If not already done install Driver_Auto_Install. Find the folder "SP_Flash_Tool_exe_Windows_v5.1920_MT6762" and open it.

Select (choose) the correct scatter file in the correct subfolder "2.5.18_EU_230525" or "2.5.18_US_230525". Note: Users of the "active" version have to use the official link for download. I'm still searching why the checksum is wrong.

Select "Firmware upgrade" and then click the Download button.

This is a short update tutorial to clarify the process of updating. Please be aware that flashing usually deletes all your personal programs and settings, it's your fault if you didn't made a backup 😉. Download folder is _here_.

Please download the 7zip file to your harddisk and expand it (if you don't have a program to unzip use the portable version I uploaded to the folder: download and run to expand). All files you might need are included in the 7zip file. If not already done install Driver_Auto_Instal. Find the folder "SP_Flash_Tool_exe_Windows_v5.1920_MT6762" and open it. First part finished.

Reboot your computer and navigate to the folder SP_Flash_Tool_exe_Windows_v5.1920_MT6762, enter that folder and start flash_tool.exe as administrator (right click on the program and select "as administrator"). There will be an error message, just click ok and the program starts. We do have to select (choose) the correct scatter file in folder "Rev2.4.90_230203.user.dual_mic.secure.eng.aauto.demo.mackchoi/image-basic -pro-LTE-EU or -pro-LTE-US".

Select "Firmware upgrade" and then click the Download button. Now insert your CarPC into the USB port and start to wait. After 2 to 5 minutes (depends on your Windows PC) there will be a check mark telling you that the flashing process finished (see pic2). Remove CarPC, close SPFlash tools and reinsert CarPC into your USB on the computer (if you have installed Mirroid or Vysor) or insert it in your car's USB and the long wait begins.
